Le Gourmet European Bistro and Catering located in historic North Wales Borough is a Casual yet elegant B.Y.O.B. restaurant. The structure was built as a Federal Bank building in the 1950's. The exteriors Grand pillared portico is now a place were customers can sit outside an have an espresso, or a full meal. Upon entering inside the classical architectural details remain throughout. The open kitchen which originated as the banks teller booth still remains intact and now is were the whole cooking process takes place, in view, making sights, sounds and scents a tantalizing part of your dining experience.

Nadhir Moatemri a cultured Executive Chef for over 20 years was born in Tunisia. As a child he enjoyed cooking in his mothers kitchen were he learned that cooking was his real passion. He achieved degreed culinary training in Italy and France before moving to the America and launched a career working in New York City under the well known "Chef Wolf Gang Puck".

Over the years he has opened for other restaurateurs as well as owning his own restaurant in his early 20's, "Le Pasha" in New Britain, PA serving a fusion of Tunisian an French Cuisine.

When Chef Nadhir met his now wife Deborah, who is an Interior Designer, the creativity just merged together and now they are offering Food with Culture in North Wales, in a casual yet sophisticated atmosphere, Le Gourmet, which opened in Sept. 2008.

Chef Nadhir, naturally has that european hospitality which makes customers feel welcomed every time they walk in the door. Those customers old and new who are looking for real authentic Mediterranean Cuisine, trust Chef Nadhir to cook "Off the menu idea's" which is never a bother for Chef Nadhir who is always looking to please his customers.

The menu is designed were Chef Nadhir put his own blend into serving Classical French, Italian, Tunisian dishes as well as Traditional American Cuisine. You will only find the freshest ingredients in each and every dish. All items are made in house.

Customers can enjoy from an array of Pasta dishes, fresh seafood, Veal, Steaks, Paninni sandwiches, Gourmet salads, and Homemade soups, which will bring you back for more.
To finish your meal you can indulge yourself in one of our homemade desserts such as Tiramisu, Crème Brulée, Chocolate Raspberry mousse cake or Chocolate Dacquoise to name a few in our ever changing Espresso/Pastry bar.
